SHORT CURRICULUM VITAE
Panagiotis Stouraitis holds a degree in European Civilization from the Hellenic Open University and is a final-year student in the Master's Program in "Public Administration – Public Management" at the Business Administration Department of the University of West Attica. Additionally, he has received training in Graphic Design and Painting, which he completed between 1996 and 2001. His professional career began in 2001 at the ΤΕΙ of Athens, where he participated in the "Panhellenic School Network" project. From 2004 to 2012, he held a permanent position at the Network Management Center of TEI Athens, serving as a web administrator/graphic designer.
Subsequently, from 2013 to 2020, he worked in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education and in the Education Committee of the Municipality of Chalandri, where he provided support to the city's educational institutions. Since 2021, he has been serving in the Department of Archival, Library, and Information Studies at the University of West Attica, taking on administrative duties while also offering teaching services at the School of Advanced Vocational Training of Piraeus (formerly IEK Piraeus).
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with academic and governmental institutions such as the University of Athens (GUNET), the Ministry of Education, the TEI of Ionian Islands and the TEI of Piraeus. Additionally, he has contributed to the activities of the Greek Research and Technology Network (GRNET) and the Computer Technology Institute and Press "Diophantus (CTI). His active involvement in promoting innovation led him to collaborate with the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Furthermore, he participated in the international project "Witness the Past," which was carried out in collaboration with TEI of Athens, UNESCO, the Cairo Archaeological Museum, the Benaki Museum, and other cultural organizations. His professional experience was further enriched through services provided at various events, such as the 17th International Conference on "Graphics & Artificial Intelligence" (University of Limoges), the 2004 Informatics Olympiad, and the 14th Panhellenic Libraries Conference.
AWARD
In 2019, he received an honorary mention for his work on the Historical Interactive Map of the Municipality of Chalandri. This award recognizes his contribution to the research, documentation, and depiction of the antiquities and cultural elements of the area.
