About
Mr. Konstantinos Evgenikos is a dedicated professional at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and education. He is a PhD candidate in a unique, interdisciplinary joint program in Health, Informatics, and Computer Engineering, researching “Simulation in Extended Reality (XR) for Nursing and Health Education: Evaluating Human-Computer Interaction and e-Health within Clinical Practice in Critical Care.”
He has working experience in private healthcare sector and now is the Head of Research in Cancer & IT applications - Oncology and Artificial Intelligence at CPRG Greece and Research Fellow at the ICU Follow-up Care Research Lab. He also currently collaborates with the University of West Attica as a scientific associate, while has supported the University’s TEDx events as Venue-Production & Volunteers Manager.
Mr. Evgenikos is actively involved in funded research initiatives aimed at advancing the integration of healthcare, education, and technology. He plays a leading role in the EU-funded “ALIAS” project, where he integrates Augmented Reality into intensive care education, and also serves as an instructor in Greece's only officially certified robotic surgery program.
With a focus on advancing healthcare systems, education, and technology integration, he leverages his academic insights and practical expertise to develop innovative solutions. His ongoing research aims to harness emerging technologies to transform patient care and professional training in Healthcare and beyond.

- ALIAS – The Augmented Reality in Intensive Care Education for Nursing Students (ALIAS) project is an innovative initiative aimed at transforming nursing education through the integration of augmented reality (AR) technology. This project seeks to provide nursing students with an immersive learning experience, preparing them for the real-world challenges they will face in intensive care units (ICUs). Funded by the 2023 Erasmus+ Programme, (KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education).
