Ioannis (or Giannis) was born on 13th of March 1992. From January 2023, he holds a PhD degree and he is member of the Information Management Research Lab of the Department of Archival, Library and Information Studies. He received his B.Sc. in Library Science & Information Systems from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Department of Library Science and Information Systems in December 2014. In June 2017, Giannis received his Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Information Systems from the Linnaeus University in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology. His Master Thesis was related with the improvement of Visibility and Accessibility of Information Organizations web services based on Search Engines' contribution. His current professional experience focuses on the Web Mining & Web Analytics sector. Moreover, he has been working with the Indexing & Documenting in Academic Libraries and Data Management topic. Giannis' scientific and research interests related to the Web Mining, Web Analytics and Predictive Modeling within the use of research tools in the Decision Making topic for developing well-informed solutions in Libraries, Archives and Museums. From February 2020, Ioannis is a member of the Special Interest Group in Computer-Human Interaction in the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM-SIGCHI). From December 2021, he is a scientific partner of Greek Research and Technology Center (GRNET) Giannis is also a Coursera representative of the University of West Attica for the provision of free online learning courses to university students and staff as well. Apart from the academia activities, Ioannis is member of the Bourdeles Adventures, a self-organized group of smiley mountaineer friends climbing several summits on the mountains of Greece. Giannis is also a long-distance runner, football player, and delta blues guitar player.
