Dimitrios Karolidis is a Lecturer at the Department of Informatics & Computer Engineering of the School of Engineering of the University of West Attica (UniWA). He is a graduate of the Department of Physics of the University of Ioannina with a postgraduate degree in New Information and Communication Technologies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). He has taught programming courses at the Technological Educational Institution of Athens (Energy Technology Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Electronic Engineering) and at the Technological Educational Institution of Piraeus (Electronic Computer Systems Engineering). His scientific interests focus on the development of applications on the World Wide Web and Internet Technologies as well as the applications of Machine Learning algorithms. He has participated as a researcher in national and European research programs and projects (SmartPV). He has published scientific articles in international scientific journals and has presented papers at international scientific conferences.
