Architecture" he teaches the course “Spatial Narratives”
In the department of “Conservation
of Antiquities and Works of Art” has taught the course “Mapping of
Objects & Monuments II” (2013 – 2018).

Virtual Reality & Multi-User systems of Artistic Expression” of the
Department of “Fine Arts”, “Athens School of Fine Arts” and the
Department “Art and Image Technology”, University Paris 8, Vincennes
Saint-Denis.
He holds a PhD in Informatics from the
University of Limoges, in France (2005 – École Doctorale
Science–Technologie–Santé, Faculté des Sciences & Techniques), a Master’s
of Science in Architecture, (Computing and Design) from the East London
University, in UK (1999 – Faculty of Design and the Built Environment – School
of Architecture) and a Diploma of Interior Design from the Technological Educational
Institute (T.E.I.) of Athens in Athens, Greece
(1995).
His scientific interests focus on
research within the threshold linking scientific fields of design methodology,
culture, and informatics. In particular, his research interests lie in the area
of computer aided design, innovative design methods, aesthetic knowledge
modeling, declarative modeling, and artificial intelligence.
As a computer programmer he is the
author of computer applications on morphogenesis, and aesthetic style modeling
with the aid of artificial intelligence.
From 2010 to 2020 he was Faculty
member of the Department of “Interior Architecture”, where he has taught
the course “Design Methodology / Analog & Digital Media”, and
“Communication and Space II”.
From 2000 to 2010 he has served as
associate and scientific instructor in the departments of “Informatics”
and “Interior Architecture, Decoration and Design”, of the T.E.I. of Athens.
He has been researcher in European
Community and Greek Government project: “Support of Computer Science Studies
in the Technological Educational Institution of Athens”, 2003-2008. Key
Researcher, in European Community and Greek Government project Archimedes I: “OPEN
MultiCAD-Development of Intelligent Informational
Systems for the Support of Product Design”, 2004-2006. Key researcher n
European Community and Greek Government project: "Reforming the
curriculum of the department of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design
through upgrading of laboratory expertise and Epistemology",
2003-2005.
He is a member of the Organizing
Committee and Program Committee of the International scientific conference 3IA
since 2001.
He is a registered interior designer
where he has designed and developed several commercial and residential interior
spaces.
Over a decade he has served on the
editing committee in a cultural magazine, and he worked as free-lance editor in
architectural periodicals.
He is a member of the Greek Computer
Society.
