Christos Yiakoumettis: He holds an Ph.D degree in Informatics. His doctoral research was focused on Semantic Navigation of Large Scale Geo-Referenced 3D Scenes and Virtual Worlds, from University of Limoges, France (2012). Furthermore, he holds a MRes degree in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex, Brighton, United Kingdom (2005). In addition, he holds a Diploma in Informatics and Computer Engineering from University of West Attica (2021) Greece and a Diploma in Informatics Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Athens, Greece (2004). His research interests are in knowledge management, intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality.
He had worked as a web developer and programmer in a few companies. He has worked as head developer in designing and developing several web-based projects and educational platforms. He had elaborated with a research team for the analysis and creation of collocation tables from data from Greek ancient texts. Moreover, he has worked as a developer on several National and European Research Projects.
He currently works as a part-time instructor and researcher at University of West Attica. Results of his research activities have been published in international conference proceedings, international journals and in Springer book series of “studies in computational intelligence”.
